This weekend, we spent time in Philippians 2 exploring what it looks like to live with the fruit of love and joy.
Love is more than a feeling. It is choosing to value others, to serve with humility, and to follow the example of Jesus, who willingly stepped into our world and gave Himself for us.
Joy is more than a reaction to circumstances. It comes from knowing Christ and trusting that He is at work, even when life is difficult. Paul wrote about joy from a prison cell, reminding us that our confidence is rooted in the presence of Jesus, not the absence of problems.
We also had the privilege of praying over teams and individuals being sent to serve in Greece and Asia. We are grateful to be part of a church family that continues to share the hope of Christ both locally and around the world.
As you head into this week, take a moment to reflect on the love and joy God has shown you and consider how you can share that with someone else.
