❤️ Open your home, change a life… and watch yours change too.
Hosting an exchange student isn't just giving someone a place to stay — it's giving them a seat at your dinner table, a place in your family photos, and memories they'll carry forever. You get to share your traditions, your everyday moments, your holidays, and in return, your family gains a new culture, new perspectives, and a connection that can last a lifetime.
The beautiful part is that the little moments become the big ones — late night talks, teaching them your favorite foods, celebrating milestones, and realizing that family can grow in ways you never expected.
Sometimes the people who start as strangers end up becoming family forever. ❤️

POV: Your family dinner suddenly includes homemade dumplings, stories from Taiwan, and someone teaching you words in Mandarin. 🇹🇼

Hosting an exchange student isn’t just “giving a student a place to stay.”
It’s gaining a new family member, learning a new culture, and making memories your family talks about for years.
Taiwanese students are known for being respectful, hardworking, family-oriented, and excited to experience American life — from Friday night football games to BBQs and holiday traditions.
You do NOT need to be rich, perfect, or have a huge house to host.
You just need a safe, caring home and room in your heart for one more seat at the table.
What hosting really looks like:
• Sharing everyday life
• Laughing through language differences
• Introducing them to your favorite foods
• Learning about Taiwan’s traditions and culture
• Watching your own family grow from the experience
And yes… your teenager may actually clean their room after seeing how polite your exchange student is. 😂
If you’ve ever thought, “That sounds interesting…” this might be your sign to learn more.

🌍💚 Two incredible exchange students are making a difference in Kansas!

Yana from Armenia and Malika from Kazakhstan recently organized a trash clean-up at a local park, bringing people together to care for the environment and give back to the community that welcomed them. 🌳

One of the best parts of cultural exchange is seeing students share not only their culture, but also their kindness, leadership, and passion for making the world a better place. These girls stepped up, took initiative, and showed that even small acts of service can make a big impact.

Hosting an exchange student is about so much more than opening your home — it’s about building connections, learning from each other, and watching young people grow into global leaders. ❤️

Thank you, Yana and Malika, for your hard work and for inspiring others to get involved! 👏🌎
