Congratulations to our Liberty Middle School Mighty Panther Band!

The band entered their UIL Sweepstakes recordings into the ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series competition, and their recordings of Forward March and Danza de España placed 1st in March and Concert for their classification!

These recordings will advance to the Area East level of adjudication on June 20th. There they will compete with 6 other march recordings and 9 concert recordings from Regions 4, 10, and 21.

Congratulations to these hard working students, their director Mrs. Brandi Facemire, and the rest of the band staff!!

2026 HS Band Parents - Please check your ParentSquare. The Band students for next year should be signed up for the Marching Band Boot Camp program through the Forte Athletics App. Instructions are in ParentSquare. The program starts June 1st (tomorrow!) and there will be rewards for the top 3 sections at the end of the program.

What a wonderful trip to TSSEC. The Mighty Panther Band and Choir performed fantastically and brought home several awards! On the Band side of things, we earned the following ratings:

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We’re so proud of you and all your achievements. Thank you for the years of hard work and beautiful music; the sweat, tears, and love you poured into our band; the leadership and enterprising spirit you brought to our every endeavor. You have set a bar that our program will continue to strive for!

Always remember, you have an incredible talent for music, but more importantly you have an incredible capacity for bringing people together. Music is a service to others, a way you can raise spirits and ease burdens. Always be kind, and remember that band work ethic - a perfect performance is not possible, but that doesn’t mean we won’t chase it relentlessly.

I am proud to have known each and every one you. I’ve always said I love you like my own children, and it has always been true. Go be good, and do good, every chance you get. We can’t wait to see how you change your world.

Graduation will be tonight at 8:00 pm at the TVE arena.

Tubas/Percussion will meet @ 5:30 at the band hall to load equipment.

Everyone will meet @ 6:20 @ the TVE Arena to set up, warm up, and run through.
