A heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible community for your patience and grace during a challenging low snow year. 🙏❄️

Our grooming crew worked absolute magic with what little snow we had — and because of their dedication, we still managed to deliver 4 weeks of skiing and even a bit more for fat biking and snowshoeing. That's no small feat!

We've officially wrapped up the winter season and the trails are cleaned up and resting. But don't put those legs away just yet — the hiking and biking at North Fork Park is calling! 🚵‍♀️🥾

Here's to the mountains in every season. See you out there! 🌲

We’re pressing pause on grooming again with rain in the forecast (up to 2” possible). As much as we’d love to be out in the cat, grooming ahead of rain just doesn’t set us up for success.

We’ll let this system move through and reassess once temps drop and (hopefully) we see some fresh snow to work with. 🤞

It’s been a wild weather winter, but we’re not giving up yet. Thanks for your patience and for continuing to get out there when conditions allow. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we’re able to resume grooming.

We’re doing our best with what Mother Nature gave us! ❄️

Skiing is good for both skate and classic, and we’ll be heading out in the cat every night to keep improving conditions as much as possible.

🚴‍♂️ Fat Biking Update:
The south end is riding best right now. Cinch is soft, and Connector gets pretty powdery toward the north end. The snow will need a few more days to consolidate, and we’re hopeful Long Loop and Traildemic will be good to go soon.

If you find yourself needing to walk your bike, please just turn around — it’s not going to get better (even if you really want it to 😅). Riding through soft sections only makes it tougher for everyone.

Thanks for your patience and support — we’re making the most of it! 🙌

We may very well be back soon!
Well folks, it’s looking promising out there. We’ve got quite a few trees down to clear and (hopefully) a fresh batch of snow to compact into those nice, straight lines you’ve been waiting for.
Our crew will be out grooming as much as possible to get things ready for the weekend and make it great for everyone. There’s still work to do, but we’re excited about how it’s shaping up.
Stay tuned for updates—we’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more! ❄️🎿

UPDATE: Pretty Bleak on the Trails

53 degree weather and full sun has done a number on the fragile ski trails that we have been nurturing for the last 4 weeks. IF you decide to come up for skiing, the trails were last groomed Tuesday night (feb3). Expect to walk up to A loop to get to snow. Expect icy spots where no more snow could be found for patching. Expect bare spots on the South facing hills with some nice coverage in between. The hill up from the North Gate entrance to Cutler Flats, is completely bare. We will not have greeters at the South Gate this weekend and day passes are not required. We are grateful for our amazing grooming team for what they did with the minimal snow we received.

THANK YOU GROOMING TEAM!

We remain on STANDBY and ready to start over if we get enough snow and colder temperatures!
BIKE TRAILS/SNOWSHOE TRAILS ARE CLOSED. There is ice, LOTS of mud and ruts. We are closing the trails for safety of our users.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this tough 'snow' year!

🚨 Help Us Save the Ski Trails 🚨

With very little snow on the ground, our ski trails are extremely fragile right now. When people walk or bike on them, mud gets tracked onto the snow — and once it’s there, it’s almost impossible to remove. One muddy footprint can undo hours of grooming.

We’re doing everything we can to make the little snow we have last as long as possible. Please help by staying off groomed ski trails if you’re walking or biking and choosing dry alternatives instead.

Thanks for helping us keep skiing alive a little longer 🙏

Skiing was great today. Honestly better than expected. We’ll take it! ⛷️❄️

Believe it or not… we’re still grooming and skiing.
Believe it even more when I say it’s actually pretty decent.

Groomers will be out this weekend, bravely turning very old thin snow into something skiable. I’ll be out there milking it for as long as humanly possible.

Fat biking and snowshoeing, however, have officially jumped the shark 🦈. We’ve got mud, snow, and ice—sometimes all in the same stride. Therefore the trails are closed.

If you don’t ski… I hear the Bonneville Shoreline Trail (BST) is good. And honestly, I feel just a little sorry for you 😉

❄️ Trail Update ❄️
Sorry folks — the snowshoe and fat bike trails are closed until we get more snow.

Current conditions are a tough mix of mud, snow, and ice. In several spots, the singletrack crosses ski trails and is tracking mud onto the snow, which is accelerating melting and damage.

We know it’s frustrating, but closing them now helps preserve what snow we have left for skiing and gives the trails a chance to survive until the next storm. Thanks for your patience and for helping us protect the trails. 🙏

Snow is getting thin, but skiing is still hanging in there! We’re grooming and doing our best to keep the trails open.

Bike trails are closed for now due to mud and ice. Thanks for your patience 🙏

Due to the continued dwindling coverage of snow, particularly on the Snowshoe/Fatbike trails, we've decided to cancel our Moonlight glide scheduled for this Saturday 1/31. With patches of dirt and asphalt opening up, a sanctioned nighttime event is not in the cards this weekend. We're all hoping for a storm before the next moonlight glide!

However, coverage remains good in some areas, and the groomers have been doing a fantastic job keeping everything going. We encourage y'all to continue monitoring the grooming conditions via our website and to get out to enjoy the skiing while we've got it. Ogden Nordic continues to be open daily for now:

Ski Trails: We groom every night. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday are typically the nights we groom the entire park when conditions allow. If there is a storm coming in, we generally skip that night to save resources since it will be covered up.
