So grateful to visit my boy, Monarch, yesterday. He is a little better, but his leg is still swollen. Temperature is finally normal. He continues treatment on IV and rest, and started on ice.
He ate some freeze dried hearts and giblets for me and some canned food. So glad that he's eating better.
Thank God for the prayers. Just wanting his leg to get back to normal, so that he can come home.

**For those who don't know, Monarch is a 14 week old kitten that I took in. I have been training him to become a therapy cat for our PAAWS program.

He had a reaction and his leg is swollen 4x its size. He has seen 3 vets and has been at Reidsville Animal Hospital since Tuesday morning.
Please pray that his swelling in the leg goes down and he can come home.
Donations for unexpected veterinary services would be greatly appreciated. As of now, it looks like close to $3000.00+.

Anyone interested in volunteering with us to provide PAAWS (Pet therapy) to people throughout our community?
Kopper Top needs volunteers on Tuesdays, to take animals into facilities to visit and give unconditional love to people.
If you have a Tuesday morning or afternoon available for a couple of hours, please let me know. The smiles in faces and joy from the animals, will truly melt your heart.

Please consider volunteering.
No experience necessary, must love animals and sharing their love with others.

Please consider donating towards the 2026 Special Olympics Equestrian team for training and State Competition at the Tryon Equestrian Center September 24-27, 2026.
We are planning on taking 7 athletes and 7 horses to compete with other athletes from across the state.

UPDATE: The well pump went out and had to be replaced. Terry Rutledge and his wife replaced it. Had the other one checked to make sure that it was bad. Motor worked, but couldn't pump the water up.
The horses and animals are happy to have water. Thank you!

EMERGENCY!
I have a Plumber (Thank you Terry) coming, but emergency funds are needed. We have to get water on for the animals!
Pump switch replaced already. No power evidently. Maybe pump, 300' well.
Help please!

Kopper Top Life Learning Center needs volunteers to assist with leading, sidewalking and assisting with the Excelsior Academy (Durham, NC) Spring event on Saturday, April 25 from 11-3:00.
We will need to be set up, saddled and ready to go by 10:45.

Please let me know if you could assist in making kids happy riding a horse for the first time, or even their 100th time.

Great fun and lots of great organizations in Guilford County!
