Good Evening I’m back in the states now, but that doesn’t mean that the needs in Africa stop. The price of fuel and food in Africa has gone up just like it has everywhere, but the children still need to be feed and the school van still needs to be fueled so it can pick the children up for school and deliver them safely back home. Education is so important for these children to be able to go on and make a living for themselves in the future.

I want to give an update on the two projects Children are People have been trying to raise funds for.
The playground equipment project of $3500.00 has been met. Thank you very much to everyone who helped support this project. We will be purchasing the playground equipment and having it installed in the next week or so.
The classrooms project that was $6300.00, is still in need of $3150.00. How ever we have enough to go ahead and finish one classroom which will be used for the 9th grade class. When we have more funds we will finish the second classroom as a science lab. Thank you so much for your support in this project. We will be finishing the construction on the first classroom very shortly.

Good Morning from Africa!
The children are back in school from a month off for holiday. I enjoy seeing all the beautiful smiling faces, but also realize there are many needs here in Africa and at Children are People Ministry. Feeding 300 plus children and housing and paying school fees for around 160 is not an easy thing to do . But seeing these smiling faces makes us want keep going. We are still working on getting finances for our playground project, this is a big project and is going to cost around $3500.00. We have had some donations come in but still need around $2000.00.
The old playground equipment has been removed due to safety reasons. We had a couple children injured so needed to remove the metal play equipment.

Good Morning from Africa.
Children are People School is out until the end of April for holiday so we are trying to take care of some projects for the school while the children are out.
We are recovering the seats in the van because they needed repair for safety reasons this is costing 45000.00ksh ($350.00), also we are in need of some break work which is 6000.00ksh ($50.00).
Our big project that we would like to do while the children are out of school is our playground project this is a big project and is going to cost around $3500.00.

School is out on Holiday until the end of April so we are busy trying to do a few projects that need to be taken care of while the children are out of school.
We are having the seats redone in the school van they were in need of repair for safety reasons, and it is better to do this while we don’t need the van to transport the children. Hi I’m back in Africa with Children are People. There are so many needs here that some times it gets overwhelming, but I know God is a GREAT GOD and a GREAT PROVIDER. God never gives us more then we can handle even though at the moment it might not seem that way.
The children just finished school today and will now be on holiday for a month which means we go through more food in the homes because they won’t be eating in school. Also we have seen some Malaria in the last couple of days, so I’m sure we will be seeing an increase in medical bills.
