More support from our community partners this week!

This past weekend, we welcomed Benedictine College's Ravens Respect Life group to our property to help with some outdoor work on a beautiful sunny fall day. Then, on Wednesday, we were pleased to have a group of freshmen from Rockhurst High School out to our grounds. Their visit was perfectly timed as they helped us clean up from the storm the night before!

We spent this past weekend celebrating a couple of our moms! 🎉

These two ladies graduated from A Turning Point Academy and obtained their HS diplomas - what a major accomplishment! Eriyonna previously resided at St. Mary's Home and is currently supported in our community-based care program. Ivy is a current residential client as has already enrolled at Metropolitan Community College to begin classes for cyber security.

Congratulations, Ivy and Eriyonna - we are so proud of everything you have achieved!

We're kicking off at new initiative this fall with our Marian Mentors program and we're looking for people to join us as another positive influence in the lives of the families we serve. Please join us Sunday, November 1st for Mass at Church of the Nativity at 5pm and then mentor training immediately following in the parish hall.

October is Respect Life Month

What a privilege it is to work everyday to extend the pro-life movement in our communities and to help mothers bring new life into the world. Last week, we celebrated our 60th birth at St. Mary's Home for Mothers since we opened our doors four years ago. 60 children given the gift of life at just one of our residential homes and countless more babies born at our other facilities and in our community-based care programs.

We're reminiscing on our gala from last month and are still in awe of the generosity, fun, and friendship that filled the night. ✨ We are inspired by everyone who attended to show support for the pro-life work that we do, and are humbled by those who gave financially to help us continue this work into the future.

We see the urgent and continual need in our own communities for the services we provide to mothers and children in crisis. We truly are humbled by your generosity and could not possibly help as many families as we do without your ongoing support.

Yesterday, we were blessed to receive a carload full of diapers and wipes from the St. Pius X High School diaper drive. These donations will directly impact the mothers, children, and families in our area who are facing crisis. We are thankful to the student leaders who organized this drive and their desire to serve those in need!
