We’re excited to highlight a wonderful new addition to College Corner Union School — a Hammock Garden! 💚

With 24 hammocks, this space gives students of all grade levels a unique place to slow down, relax, read a book, or simply enjoy a quiet moment outside.

Teachers can reserve the Hammock Garden for their classes, and students can also enjoy the space during recess. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to step outside, breathe in some fresh air, enjoy the outdoors, and take a moment to relax and recharge.🌳✨

This project was made possible in part through grants from the Liming Family Fund and the Community Impact Unrestricted Fund through the Union County Foundation. Additional support came from fundraising efforts and the school’s PTO.

We love seeing community generosity turn into projects that make a real difference in the everyday lives of our children. ❤️

Sometimes the most meaningful help is just showing up ❤️

Many of UC’s surrounding counties were tremendously impacted by flooding. These communities will start the road to recovery and clean up. I know we all want to help our neighbors to some capacity.

Outside our office is plenty of fresh vegetables, fresh flowers, and even a few books. Please stop by and take what you want/need. Drop it off to a neighbor, family, or a friend down the road. Showing up to visit with someone could change their whole day!
