Meet Bender! 💙
Bender, the absolute sweetest boy ever, came to SCRAPS after suffering a severely broken leg. After careful evaluation by the veterinary team, the best path forward was amputation. While it’s never an easy decision, it was the one that would give Bender the best chance at a pain-free, happy life.
We're happy to share that Bender's surgery was successful, and he is now on the road to recovery! He also met a class of middle school kids after his surgery and did fantastic with all of them. Even better, thanks to the incredible support of Murci's Mission, Bender has found a wonderful foster home in Seattle where he can rest, heal, and receive all the love he deserves during his recovery.
As you can imagine, emergency medical care and surgery come at a significant cost. We are currently raising funds to help cover Bender’s amputation and ongoing medical expenses. Every donation, no matter the size, helps animals like Bender receive the lifesaving care they need when they need it most.
