🇺🇸 Happy Veterans Day! 🇺🇸

Our Cub Scouts had the privilege of replacing the flags at the Liberty Hill Cemetery in honor of the men and women who have served our country. 🌟

The Scouts learned that Veterans Day isn’t just a day off—it’s a day to remember the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who stepped forward to protect our freedoms. By placing new flags at each veteran’s grave, the Scouts practiced the values of respect, service, and gratitude—core parts of the Scout Oath and Law.

It was a meaningful reminder that freedom isn’t free, and that even small acts of service can show big appreciation.

To our veterans and their families:
Thank you. We are forever grateful.

Our Cub Scout meeting this week was a huge success! 🎉 The older scouts (AOLs and Webelos) stepped up in a big way, taking charge of running the stations for the younger dens. They showed amazing leadership, responsibility, and patience as they guided everyone through activities.

The scouts rotated through stations practicing the Scout Oath, Scout handshake, flag ceremony, popcorn sales training, and more. All of the scouts did a fantastic job staying on task, showing respect, and most importantly—having fun (especially when it came time to eat the popcorn 🍿).

We’re so proud of the growth and teamwork we saw in every single scout! 💙💛

Our “Welcome Back” Cub Scouts meeting was a huge success! The kids had an absolute blast racing their boats in the annual Rain Gutter Regatta 🏁⛵️—lots of laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition!

Happy Memorial Day weekend! 🇺🇸

This morning, our Cub Scouts placed flags at the cemetery to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We are grateful for their courage and sacrifice and express our deepest gratitude. ❤️🤍💙
