Newsletter/Publicity Committee is responsible for:
Collaborate with Friends board members to collect reports and event information for publication in the newsletter
Check email a minimum of one time per week for updates from board members
Format and publish newsletter electronically to members
Print copies for distribution at the library
Attend board meetings when needed

ttee chairman guidelines of responsibilities:
Create a committee of friends of the library members to do the following:
Plan, execute and review fundraisers for the benefit of the library. Plan a budget. Creating a fundraising plan to meet the financial goals of the organization. Developing and overseeing corporate sponsor campaign drives. Working with third-parties who offer to fundraise on behalf of Friends through an event, donation drive, etc. Monitoring fundraising efforts to be sure that ethical practices are in place, donors are acknowledged appropriately, and that fundraising efforts are cost-effective. Creating a communication plan to ensure consent messaging on social media, website, email blasts and/or direct mail.( coordinate this with the Publicity chair)
Develop a budget for fundraising for supplies. Building and marketing online fundraising campaigns and track donations
