Now that the school year has come to a close and we watched our kiddos walk the stage, it is time to pass on the torch. We are looking for candidates for the following board positions:

👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓 Congratulations to our scholarship recipients!!! All of your essays were so thoughtful and moving…these students consistently showed us with each essay that success is more than financial wealth.

Our seniors said that to them, success means a happy family, a loving marriage, staying true to your convictions and showing integrity, being a good parent, enjoying a healthy work-life balance, having a happy home, and having faith in God.

Thank you, Seniors, for being such an exceptional group of young adults. You have made LH proud! Congratulations to all of the graduates, and enjoy the memories you’ll be making tomorrow! Parents, savor every moment! Take all the pics! And have a blast celebrating your babies!

We know it was hard for our committee to choose winners because each and every submission was so thoughtful and inspiring, and we’d like to again thank all of our volunteers who took free time to read over dozens of essays! Thank you to all of the Seniors for submitting the essays that they worked so hard on, we have no doubt you will all go on to do wonderful things and lead amazing lives!

We’d also like to thank all of our Sponsors and for Keller Williams Realty of Liberty Hill for supporting our Seniors this year! We couldn’t have done it without you, at all!

Our winners will receive their scholarships at the Senior Awards ceremony in the LHHS PAC on May 20th at 6:30 PM.

🧑‍🎓👩‍🎓As our essay committee is busy reading all of the essay submissions, we just wanted to thank everyone for their hard work in getting them emailed on or before the posted deadline! 📝

‼️🎉We’re excited to announce that through the generosity of Keller Williams Realty of Liberty Hill, we are able to include a 4th essay winner!! It will be a tie of 🥉3rd place🥉of $1,500. Thank you so much to our sponsors for making this happen!!!

We also wanted to take a moment and say that we’ve read a lot of the essays ourselves (simply out of interest in our students’ views and thoughts, not to choose any winners or influence the committee), and these kids have got some serious heart, y’all. We feel so blessed to live in the same community as these students and we know beyond a doubt they are going to live great lives and do amazing things!

Just a reminder: we will be reaching out to our winners late next week to invite them to the Senior Awards on May 20th, so keep your phones charged and close by when you’re at home! 😉🤟🏼💜💛

Happy Thursday, everyone! Today is the last day to submit your essays for the Project Graduation Scholarship!

We’ve had a lot of great submissions and can’t wait to hear who the winners are! Just as a reminder: once our committee has chosen the winners, we will be contacting each winner to let them know so that they can make plans to attend the Senior Awards ceremony on May 20th! So make sure to keep that date on your radar!

‼️🚨 Major announcement:
In order to adapt to today’s culture around graduation season and all that entails, our board members have voted to change how we celebrate our Senior class.

➡️ This is an extremely busy season, not just for students, but also their families. Every year, Project Graduation attendance and interest has been in a sharp decline. Our administrators sent students interest polls earlier this year, and shared participation numbers with us, and the trend is drastically lower than last year.

➡️ Friends and family come from out of town, elaborate celebrations are planned, and families want to party together rather than have their Senior spend grad night away from them. We want to support that! 🎉 🎈🎊

➡️ We know this might be a huge change, but we have decided to celebrate our students’ accomplishments by awarding scholarships for an essay contest. Scholarships give students real, tangible rewards for all their hard work, and as we all know, the big world out there is expensive!

Scholarships for winners will be given at the Senior Awards Ceremony at LHHS on May 20th, 2026 (more details to come).

🟣 Must be a 2026 senior on track to graduate with peers
🟡 Essays are due by April 30th
🟣 Email essays as a word doc to [email protected]
🟡 Must be between 450-750 words
🟣 Essays will be checked for AI assistance, any essay found to be written with AI assistance will be automatically disqualified
🟡 Please include your contact information in the main body of the email, and what your plans are after graduation (we’re so excited for you!)
🟣 Essays will be reviewed by adults not affiliated with Project Graduation in order to maintain impartiality
🟡 We will contact essay winners leading up to the Senior Awards Ceremony, where the top 3 winners will be announced

💜🎓 Hey Panther Nation! Did everyone have an awesome Christmas and winter break? We can’t believe it’s already 2026, and our Seniors will be heading out into the big, wide world soon! 🥰🎉

We still have some home games on our Boys’ Basketball schedule, and desperately need help! If even just a handful of parents do one small shift, just ONCE, it will help fill all the slots and give our board members some much-needed relief 😜

Hey senior families! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with family, friends, and loved ones! Who all is 100% done Christmas shopping?! 🤭

Project Grad has been quiet because of all of the holiday shenanigans BUT there is still stuff going on quietly in the background!

Monday, Dec 15th, we have our annual faculty basketball game! Donations will go to support Project Grad! Come watch these amazing faculty members battle it out! 😄

It’s time for the biggest LHISD sporting event of the year, our annual faculty basketball game. 🏀🤟💛💜

Right now Team Ellison has the advantage 2-1 but maybe Team Bongard can even the score!
