Liberty Center VFW Post 6596 Membership into VFW Post 6596 can be obtained by submitting your DD 214 showing the area of Foreign Service in which you were involved.

Annual Dues for all eligible veterans, or a life-time membership is also available. The cost of a lifetime membership varies with the age of the veteran. If you are not a veteran but have a father/grandfather, mother/grandmother or just simply a friend who was a veteran, you are eligible for membership as a Friend of the VFW member. If you would still like to join our organization but are unsure

of your eligibility, contact the Post at via E-mail at [email protected] and we will help you to become a member. Many benefits, both financially and medically, may be enjoyed by joining this great organization. Also, you will be immersed in comradeship and the many Post activities and functions based on American values. We have a banquet hall that will accommodate approximately 125 guests. This hall may be rented by the public. For rental arrangements, contact the Post at [email protected] to let us know on what day(s) that you would like to reserve your special date.

We invite you to participate in our Memorial Day observance on Monday, May 25, 2026. The day's events will commence with a 9:30a Memorial Service at Heath Cemetery, followed by a 10:15a Parade in Liberty Center (starting at the Grain Elevator and ending at Young Cemetery). An additional Memorial Service will be held at Young Cemetery after the Parade. A Chicken BBQ will then be held at Liberty Center VFW Post 6596, offering meals consisting of chicken, baked beans, chips, and a roll, available for a free-will donation. Payment options include cash, check, and Venmo.

The placement of flags in the 10 cemeteries under our care has been completed. I would like to acknowledge and thank the following groups for their contributions today: The Boys Scouts, American Heritage Girls, Trail Life Boys, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Liberty Center VFW members along with their families. Thank you again for your support. We successfully placed over 613 flags within an hour and a half. If a flag was missed at your family member's grave, please do not hesitate to contact me and we will ensure one is placed. Thank you again, Adam Foster, Commander, VFW Post 6596.

Bingo starts at 6p

$15 per Bingo card (can switch out your card anytime for no fee)

$5 payout. If a two person tie $3 payout each. If three person tie $2 payout each. If more than that $1 payout per person.

Will play 12 sets of Bingo. Each set has 5 games and the 5th game will be a ham game. If a tie on the ham game it will get moved to the next game. And it will be payed out as a normal game.
