A huge thank you to the David Thompson Search and Rescue team for their incredible dedication and service at this year’s Clash of the Carvers! 🪓 From 6 PM to 6 AM, these volunteers work tirelessly through the night to keep our grounds secure, ensuring every carver’s work and equipment are protected. Their commitment allows our artists and guests to focus on what matters most—celebrating world-class chainsaw carving right here in Libby, Montana.

If you see a member of the David Thompson Search and Rescue team, please take a moment to thank them for all they do. Their presence is a vital part of what makes this event safe and successful.

ANNOUNCEMENT- TRAINING IN PROGRESS

David Thompson Search and Rescue is hosting a Jet Boat Class this weekend, June 7-9, 2024

There will be jet boats from DTSAR, Ruby Valley S&R, CSKT wardens and Montana FWP Game Wardens taking part in this training on the river.

This is great training that DTSAR is putting on and not an active search over the weekend on the river!

David Thompson Search and Rescue would like to introduce the newest asset to our team a defender OHV. With tracks used during the winter months, we have been able to use our new defender on several callouts already!

Through a generous donation by a local residence we were able to match funds from the LOR Foundation to obtain this new equipment. LOR has been great to work with over the last couple years by helping us upgrade equipment vital to our searches.

Thank you to LOR for teaming up with us on this project!
