I have a joyful heart knowing that together we made sure 408 children in Lincoln County had Christmas gifts to open this year. Thanks to our incredible volunteers, our generous community, and our partnership with Toys for Tots, we got it done. ❤️
That said, this work is never truly finished. We accept donations all year long at Diane’s Restaurant as we begin preparing for the next holiday season.
I would also like to take a moment to be honest about some of what we dealt with this year. Please don’t mistake my kind heart for ignorance. The number of people who signed up for assistance when they truly did not need it was overwhelming. The number of people who were dishonest about how many children would be in their home on Christmas morning was heartbreaking. We also dealt with individuals attempting to receive toys from multiple programs (which was shut down), and, sadly, an overall amount of rudeness and ungrateful behavior that genuinely hurt my heart.
However, I refuse to let those experiences overshadow the reason we do this. I won’t allow a few negative actions to take away from the families who were honest, truly needed help, and were deeply grateful. You are the ones who keep my heart in the right place. You are the reason we continue this work year after year—to make sure the children of Lincoln County have gifts to open on Christmas morning.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who supported, donated, volunteered, and believed in this mission.

I honestly cannot find the words to thank this community enough. After sharing a few posts asking for help, the response was overwhelming. Even with the weather, and everything else going on, this community still showed up and made sure our needs were met.
I can’t possibly name everyone who donated, but I absolutely need to give a heartfelt shout-out to Levi Thompson (TCI) and Teri Noble. The pictures truly speak for themselves—their donations were incredibly generous. Teri went above and beyond, not only donating but also spending her day doing some serious shopping to make sure more needs were covered.
On top of that, we had so many donations come into the restaurant today that I was completely overwhelmed—in the best way possible—by the love, kindness, and support pouring in.
Thank you, Libby. Thank you for caring. Thank you for showing up. This community reminds me why what we do matters, and my heart is so full because of all of you. ❤️

We are running low on gifts this year and could really use some help. The Flathead Toys for Tots is also asking for assistance if you're in that area. The delivery truck on Sunday had about half of the amount of toys as last year. We are working hard this week to make sure there is enough to go around.

I just walked out of Dollar General with $340 worth of blankets… and it still isn’t enough. Our kids need warmth, comfort, and a reminder that their community hasn’t forgotten them.
If you’re already out in this cold, wet weather, please—please—consider grabbing even one or two blankets to donate. Every single one means a child will sleep a little warmer and feel a little more cared for.
