American Legion Post 6 The American Legion Post 6 was chartered on Sept. 11, 1919. Meetings are held the 2nd Monday each month at 7:00 p.m. Contact us for more info.

Membership is open to anyone that served active duty and received an Honorable Discharge since Dec. 7, 1941. The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities,

advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans. The Members of American Legion Post 6 in Lexington, Texas strive to complete this mission on a daily basis.
