Richland Outreach Center WHY Do We Exist? ROC recognized that the gaps leading to less involvement are a sense of belonging, and financial.

MISSION:
The Richland Outreach Center serves through engaging and connecting families in educational opportunities, inclusive community activities and improving others commitment to community. The Richland Outreach Center exist because organizationally there are concentrated needs within the underserved populations of Richland County, Ohio. These needs revolve around a segment of families that ar

e often cut out activities, or otherwise have barriers that keep them from participating in their community. The gaps created are based on oppressions within our community, such as a lack of inclusion and diversity in schools, workplaces and homes which leads to minimal growth over time. We are dedicated to inclusiveness and opportunity that reaches into the pockets of those who do not feel welcome or have barriers that lead their family to be excluded in the community. ROC is dedicated to finding and serving the needs of the community and serving them through non-traditional methods such as a drive, a hygiene pantry, a diaper distribution and more. It is understood that our events, pantries, and even sports clinics come and go. However, it is the participation that the family is able to build up over the course of time and to experience community, leading to belonging and inclusiveness and joy. Looking for the ultimate Saturday plans? Look no further! Tomorrow is the 3rd Annual Shelby Car Show, and trust us, you do not want to miss it.
Come check out some incredible cars, grab a bite from the many food trucks, and enjoy an amazing afternoon. Best of all? A portion of the proceeds directly benefits our organization!
Here is a breakdown of the action happening from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM:
🎨 Free Kids Events & Bounce Houses (Bring the whole family!)
🎟️ Tons of Gift Cards being handed out throughout the day
🎶 Live DJ spinning tracks all afternoon
⭐ Amphitheater Special Events:
💃 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Get ready to move! We've got dancing with the amazing Aurelio Villa Luna Diaz.
🕺 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Hee-hee! Catch an unbelievable Michael Jackson impersonation performance by Seth Shatzer.
Good cars, good food, great entertainment, and an even better cause. Grab the kids, invite your friends, and come show your support!

We want to extend a massive, heartfelt thank you to James and Jessica Owens, the amazing owners of Brothers Barbershop, for inviting us to participate in their incredible Fighting for Fatherhood event this past Sunday!
Our board member, Jaz'min, had the honor of attending and witnessing firsthand the beautiful impact this event had on our community. It was such an inspiring day dedicated to celebrating fathers, bringing families together for a completely free day of fun, and connecting dads with vital resources to encourage and support them in staying active in their children's lives.
We absolutely love everything James, Jessica, and the Brothers Barbershop team stand for. Their dedication to uplifting families and empowering fathers is exactly the kind of passion that changes communities for the better.
Jaz'min had a wonderful time, and we already can't wait to partner more with them in the near future! Thank you both for your leadership, your heart for the community, and for including us in such a meaningful day.

What a Turnout! Breakfast Recap!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for breakfast this past Saturday! We had a wonderful crowd with 56 people in attendance, including 7 smiling children who brought so much energy to the room.
From the kitchen to the tables, the food was an absolute hit. We served up a spread featuring:
🏆 The Main Event:Perfectly fried bologna paired with fried eggs to order.
🥖 Fresh from the Oven: Fluffy, scratch-made biscuits and warm, gooey cinnamon rolls.
🥔 The Sides: A giant batch of freshly cut, seasoned home fries.
☕ The Drinks:Plenty of milk, juice, and hot coffee to keep everyone fueled up.

A Special Thank You to Our Volunteers
An event this size doesn't just happen on its own. We want to extend a massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers!
Whether you were up at dawn cracking eggs, flipping bologna, rolling out biscuit dough, pouring coffee, or helping with the massive mountain of dishes afterward, we could not have done this without you. You are the heart and soul of this community, and your hard work made today a seamless success.
Thank you all for eating, laughing, and spending your morning with us. We can’t wait for the next one!

Your breakfast crew is already in the kitchen, and let me tell you... you are not going to want to miss this! We are hustling hard right now getting everything perfectly ready so it is nice, hot, and fresh for you the moment you walk through the door.
Smell-vision NEEDS to be invented immediately, because the kitchen is absolutely heavenly right now! The homemade warm cinnamon rolls literally just came out of the oven, and we are getting ready to whip up the icing to drizzle all over them. Pair that with some hot, crispy home fries, fried eggs, and thick-cut fried bologna, and you’ve got the ultimate morning fuel.Plus, Also, ss part of Dawn's Sweet Treat initiative she implemented, we will also have delicious homemade cookies ready for you! And don't worry.. we made sure to bake a batch of sugar-free cookies as well for those who can't do sugar, so everyone gets to enjoy a treat!
