Richland Outreach Center Building hope by serving our community with compassion. WHY Do We Exist? It is understood that our events, pantries, and even sports clinics come and go.

Richland Outreach Center provides free meals, diapers, family support, community events, and volunteer opportunities to help individuals and families thrive. MISSION:
The Richland Outreach Center serves through engaging and connecting families in educational opportunities, inclusive community activities and improving others commitment to community. The Richland Outreach Center exist because organizationally there are concentrated needs within the underserved populations of Richland County, Ohio. These needs revolve around a segment of families that are often cut out activities, or otherwise have barriers that keep them from participating in their community. ROC recognized that the gaps leading to less involvement are a sense of belonging, and financial. The gaps created are based on oppressions within our community, such as a lack of inclusion and diversity in schools, workplaces and homes which leads to minimal growth over time. We are dedicated to inclusiveness and opportunity that reaches into the pockets of those who do not feel welcome or have barriers that lead their family to be excluded in the community. ROC is dedicated to finding and serving the needs of the community and serving them through non-traditional methods such as a drive, a hygiene pantry, a diaper distribution and more. However, it is the participation that the family is able to build up over the course of time and to experience community, leading to belonging and inclusiveness and joy. Last night at our Diaper Pantry, our amazing team helped 59 families get the essentials they need for their little ones!
Here’s what that looks like in numbers:
👶 2,400 diapers
👶1,170 pull-ups
👶180 Goodnites
👶59 packs of wipes
That’s a whole lot of little bottoms covered! Every diaper, every pack of wipes, and every helping hand makes a difference for families right here in our community.

A HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers who showed up to serve and to everyone who continues to donate and support our mission. We truly couldn't do this without you! This is what community looks like.

Need a little extra help for your little ones? We’ve got you! Our Diaper Pantry is OPEN TONIGHT, and we have: Diapers, Pull-Ups, Goodnites and Fragrance-free wipes

A couple of important reminders: You MUST bring your ID every time you visit. Children are required at the first visit only.

Our goal is to help families in our community get the essentials they need without judgment. Please share this post with a family who might benefit from our pantry!

WE NEED YOUR HELP THIS WEEKEND!

Friends, we’re putting out a little cry for help! Our volunteer team is coming up short this weekend due to illness, work and some of our team members being out of town, and we could really use our community to rally around us!

We’re looking for: 3 volunteers to help us Saturday morning. Also, 4 dozen eggs donated to help us serve our community.

We are powered by volunteers and the generosity of people who believe in taking care of their neighbors. Sometimes, even the best laid plans need a little help from our community, and this is one of those times!

If you have a few hours to spare or can donate some eggs, please comment below or send us a message! Every helping hand and every donation makes a difference.

If you can’t help this weekend, sharing this post might connect us with someone who can!

Diaper Day is going to be SPOOKTACULAR!

We are hosting our next FREE DIAPER DISTRIBUTION on Tuesday, October 13th! We are so excited to help families in our community.

This month, we are giving away more than just diapers! Kids who come to the distribution will receive a small Halloween gift, while supplies last! (You must be getting our services to get this gift, not just showing up with kids)

Here’s what you need to know:
WHAT: Free Diaper Distribution!
WHEN: Tuesday, October 13th
TIME: 5:30 – 7:00 PM
WHERE: 12 N. Diamond Street, Mansfield
HOW: Enter at the orange Tyger Book Box on the side of the building.

REQUIREMENTS:
If this is your 1st visit -You must bring the child or children who need items.

You must bring your ID every time.

We can't wait to see you and your kids! Feel free to share this post with any other families in the area!

AND THAT’S A WRAP ON OUR 11TH ANNUAL TRUNK OR TREAT!👻

What a day! We are so incredibly thankful for every community partner, volunteer, and supporter who showed up to make today special for the kids in and around our neighborhood!

From the decorated trunks and mountains of candy to the food, smiles, and spooky fun, today was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community comes together.

To everyone who took time out of their day to serve, donate, decorate, and love on our kiddos THANK YOU! You helped create memories, bring smiles, and make our neighborhood a little brighter.

This is what Richland Outreach Center is all about: Community, Connection, and showing up for one another. We couldn't do it without you!

Thank you for making our 11th year one to remember! On to our next event...CHRISTMAS!
