Blue Grass Council Venturing Fun. Friendship. Adventure. Welcome to Venturing, the older youth program of the Boy Scouts of America! Open to male and female youth from 14 through 21.

Venturing is the co-ed, older youth program of the Boy Scouts of America, focused on high adventure and personal development. The program is run by individual Venturing crews, chartered to local community organizations. Crews in central and eastern Kentucky are supported by the Blue Grass Council Venturing Officers' Association. As we welcome the new year, we send warm wishes to everyone who has ever called Camp McKee home—our alumni, current Scouts, leaders, and families. Whether your memories were made years ago or just last season, we look forward to reconnecting with you in 2026.

We’re making great strides in sustainability and long-term stewardship to ensure Camp McKee remains a cornerstone of Scouting in the Blue Grass Council for generations to come. The year ahead is filled with opportunities to come back to camp—join us for summer camp, weekend camps, unit camping, work days, and special events as we continue building, improving, and enjoying this special place together.
