On Monday, May 18, we had the honor of celebrating 3 children as they graduated from our Sixpence program.
Throughout their time in the program, we have enjoyed watching each child learn, grow, and achieve important milestones. From gaining new abilities to growing in confidence and creating stronger family relationships, every accomplishment has been special to witness.
We are grateful to the families for welcoming us into their homes and allowing us to support them during these early years. Your commitment and involvement have made a lasting impact on your children’s development.
To our graduates, we are incredibly proud of all you have achieved and are excited to see what comes next for each of you. You will always hold a special place in our Sixpence family!

El Lunes 18 de Mayo tuvimos el honor de celebrar la graduación de 3 niños de nuestro programa Sixpence.
Durante su tiempo en el programa, ha sido muy bonito ver a cada niño aprender, crecer y alcanzar logros importantes. Desde desarrollar nuevas habilidades hasta ganar más confianza y fortalecer las relaciones familiares, cada avance ha sido especial de presenciar.
Estamos agradecidas con las familias por abrirnos las puertas de sus hogares y permitirnos acompañarlos durante estos primeros años. Su compromiso y participación han tenido un impacto muy importante en el desarrollo de sus hijos.
A nuestros graduados, estamos muy orgullosas de todo lo que han logrado y emocionadas por todo lo que viene para ustedes. ¡Siempre tendrán un lugar especial en nuestra familia Sixpence!

Yesterday, we had our Lexington High School Cheerleaders volunteer their time, energy, and supplies to help us celebrate our Sixpence moms. The moms had an opportunity to be pampered, while their children did Mothers' Day crafts with the cheerleaders.

Ayer, nuestras porristas de Lexington High School ofrecieron su tiempo, energía y materiales para ayudarnos a celebrar a las mamás de Sixpence. Las mamás tuvieron la oportunidad de consentirse y relajarse mientras sus hijos hacían manualidades del Día de las Madres con las porristas.

Sixpence is excited to announce that we have became a partner with Access Period!! Access Period is a program supplying free period supplies for anyone!! If you are in need of period supplies, please reach out to one of our home visitors or the office at ELA and we’d love to get you some supplies.
We also provided the Welcome Center at the Opportunity Center in Lexington with supplies. You could stop in at the Welcone Center and ask for period supplies.

On December 11, we had 4 children graduate our Sixpence program.
Families, we are so proud of you. And to our graduates: we have watched you grow, discover, talk, explore, and shine. We wish you all the best in this next chapter. You will always be part of our Sixpence family!
Sixpence is built on one simple belief: that when we support families, we build strong futures for children. Over these past months and years, our home visitors have had the privilege of walking alongside each of our graduates—supporting developmental growth, strengthening parent-child interactions, and celebrating every little milestone along the way.

El 11 de Diciembre tuvimos a 4 niños que se graduaron de nuestro programa de Sixpence.
Familias, estamos muy orgullosas de ustedes. Y a nuestros graduados: los hemos visto crecer, explorar, hablar, descubrir y brillar. Les deseamos lo mejor en esta nueva etapa. Siempre serán parte de nuestra familia Sixpence!

Sixpence está basado en una idea muy sencilla: cuando apoyamos a las familias, construimos futuros más fuertes para los niños. Durante estos meses y años, nuestras visitadoras del hogar hemos tenido el privilegio de caminar junto a los graduados—apoyando el desarrollo de los niños, fortaleciendo la conexión entre padres e hijos y celebrando cada logro, grande y pequeño.
