In light of recommendations for social distancing & the closure of schools by the Governor to combat the severity of the coronavirus, we have decided to suspend activities until further notice. This includes all meetings and all planned outings and activities.

In times like these when our communities are at risk, it’s important to consider the Scout Law:

1. A Scout is Clean - washing your hands is effective against transmitting this virus

2. A Scout is Obedient - this is not the time to challenge authority (or your parents). We’re all in this together and nobody likes it

3. A Scout is Kind - recognize that everyone around you is stressed in a very unusual way. Tempers may be short. A cheerful word of kindness and understanding is needed now more than ever

4. A Scout is Brave - we will get through this and return to normal. Be Brave.

Leaders shine in times of crisis. Be a beacon of hope for the world around you. Lead by your example.
