As we journey through Lent, we invite our youth to pray, serve, and grow closer to Christ.

Lent is a sacred season of forty days given to us by the Church as a time for prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. It is an opportunity to grow deeper in our relationship with the Lord and to renew our faith. Rather than seeing Lent only as a time to give something up, consider also taking something on. You might choose to attend Mass more regularly, go to Confession, spend time in Eucharistic Adoration, pray the Rosary, or read Scripture each day.

As we begin this journey, remember the words of the Lord:
“Return to me with your whole heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” (Joel 2:12)

May this Lenten season be a time of grace, renewal, and deeper conversion for us all.
