Lexington GA Downtown Development Authority Lexington's Downtown Development Authority works to strengthen and promote the economic health and vitality of Lexington. The DDA was created on June 10, 2010.

The Lexington DDA is a volunteer organization comprised of Lexington property owners, residents, business owners, and community advocates. Our mission is to promote the revitalization and redevelopment of the central business district of the City of Lexington, Georgia. Our meeting dates are the second Monday of the month at 7pm at Lexington City Hall. Join us at our next meeting!

We are so proud of our beautiful Courthouse!

The Oglethorpe County Courthouse in Lexington was designed circa 1887 by architects Lorenzo G. Wheeler, William H. Parkins, and Hannibal I. Kimball. What style of architecture is this? Glad you asked! This is an example of Romanesque Revival architecture, which became popular during the Victorian era.
