Unity 4 Kids Inc will be delivering meals in Buena Vista this coming Thursday. We will be serving hoagie sandwiches, macaroni salad, corn, broccoli, fruit, and dessert.

Unity 4 Kids Inc is now delivering 70 meals to families in Lexington! Thank you to everyone who has helped to make this possible. We are so grateful for our volunteers who show up every week to pack and deliver meals in the community. When I visit with families, I am reminded why this is important. It’s not just about a meal! Galatians 5:13 “…serve one another through love.”

Yesterday Unity 4 Kids Inc set up at Natural Bridge Farmer’s Market for a couple of hours collecting books and telling folks about our organization. Thank you to those who dropped off books for us and to Tiffani Ice for having me. It was so nice meeting your little man, Ronan!

We need volunteers for this event! This is a good opportunity for high school and college kids to get credit for helping community organizations.

Unity 4 Kids Inc will be delivering meals in Lexington on Tuesday. If you know someone who is elderly, struggling, has medical illness, or disabled that could use a warm, nutritious meal, please let us know, and we will put them on our list.

Unity4Kids unites community partners to provide year-round support for families and children in crisis — food, clothing, utilities, and household needs.

Unity 4 Kids Inc will be opening a Food Pantry at Calvary Brethren Church located at 1365 Woodland Avenue in Buena Vista. Stay tuned for more information about opening and making appointments to visit our Food Pantry. Our Clothes Closet will also be open the same time as the Food Pantry.

Unity 4 Kids Inc will be at the Natural Bridge Farmers Market next Saturday between 9 and 11 AM. We will be accepting book donations for our new literacy program, UnityReads! Stop by and see us!

A big thank you to Hogback Mtn BBQ for providing dinner for 120 people yesterday evening. I am so thankful for the relationships and community partners that we have that make what we do to help our community possible. We literally could not do it without you! Uni✝️y4Kids is blessed to make a difference, an impact, and touch the lives of children and families every day!

Unity 4 Kids Inc we will be delivering meals on Thursday in Buena Vista. We are looking for at least one more volunteer. If you are interested in helping, send me a message. Our meal will be catered by Hogback Mountain. Our menu is barbecue, mac & cheese, baked apples, and green beans.

📚 Supporting Early Literacy in Rockbridge

UnityReads is a wonderful new program that brings families together around the joy of reading.

On Friday, June 20, children and families across our community will gather at Kids Playce in Lexington for a morning of stories, activities, and connection — and every child will go home with free books to enjoy all summer long.

Investing in early literacy is investing in our community's future. We're grateful to Unity4Kids and all the partners making this possible, and we're honored to play a small part in putting books into the hands of local kids.
