Dress for Success Worldwide, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, was founded in New York City in 1997 as an answer to the needs of low-income women who are seeking employment and self-sufficiency. The organization has responded to the needs of the women that it serves by providing professional attire, career development tools, and a

network of support to help women succeed in work and in life. Over the past 20 years, Dress for Success has grown into a thriving international not-for-profit organization that has supported more than 975,000 women at over 143 affiliates worldwide. We serve more than 70,000 clients each year throughout countries like the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom and the West Indies. Our efforts are partially supported by global network of over 7,000 volunteers. On a local level, since opening its doors in October of 2013, Dress for Success Lexington has served almost 900 women and counting through its Suiting program, Career Center, mentoring programs and workshops. Dress for Success Lexington empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.
