Lexington Sertoma Club Dues Structure & Meeting Time:
$75 per calendar quarter; dues cover meal costs (and other Sertoma-related expenses) at regular meetings held on the third Monday evening at Lizard's Thicket Restaurant located at 4616 Augusta Rd. (Hwy 1) in Lexington; regular meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and conclude around 8:00 p.m.
Our new Lite Membership will meet on the third Thursday monthly with quarterly membership of $35 to cover Sertoma related expenses. A more social, informal format is designed to accommodate members who need to balance busy work, life, and family commitments with a desire to participate in club events.
Lexington Sertoma Club Annual Fund Raisers:
1) Clemson-Carolina Big Thursday Tailgate – this popular community event will be held in 2024 but will be revisited for 2025.
2) Spring Golf Tournament – the Lexington Sertoma Club Golf Tournament is traditionally held at Golden Hills Country Club in Lexington.
Traditional sponsorship recipients from the Lexington Sertoma Club include Town of Lexington Parks with with major additions to Gibson Pond Park, American Red Cross, Lexington Dixie Youth Baseball, Kid’s Day of Lexington, Lexington County Aging’s “Christmas in April”, Lexington School District One Educational Foundation’s “Excellence in Education”, Meals on Wheels, Local Hearing Health Programs, Sertoma Speech & Hearing Annual Fund, Sertoma Safe Ears Program , Sertoma National Heritage Program (with local middle schools), Sertoma Service to Mankind Award (recognizing a deserving person from the community), and Camp Sertoma of South Carolina (annually sending at least four speech/hearing-impaired children from the area).
