This is extremely sad news. Prayers go out to the Biffle family and friends. The "Biff" and his wife were humanitarian's that cared deeply for people. He touched thousands of lives including mine. He provided Carolina Hope Builders with much needed supplies to help hurricane victims, hosted great parties at his ranch, found ways to make giving back more fun, knew how to make people laugh. Losing him and his family will leave a huge hole in the hearts of many. We lost an amazing family today. Please say a prayer for all those involved.

Please pray for Jamaica!

Few storms are strong enough and dangerous enough to end a mission from the Hurricane Hunters, but Melissa is. NOAA Hurricane Hunters ended this morning's mission early after experiencing extreme turbulence in the southwestern eyewall. Hurricane Hunters typically make 4 passes through the center of a storm, but abandoned today's mission after two.
