Race Street Riders

Race Street Riders We are a 501 (c) (3) certified beginner horse riding academy designed to serve the inner city underprivileged children in Lexington, Ky.

Race Street Riders' name was inspired by the actual street in Lexington called Race Street. Before there was a Keeneland, horse races were held in downtown Lexington around Race Street, and the jockeys were gifted African American horsemen.

Our logo is a Kente cloth patterned silhouette of a horse and rider jumping. The Kente cloth pattern is a symbol of minority achievement in education and ser

vice to society and is usually given to outstanding African American college graduates.

At RSR, we aim to give the horse riding world back to the community and using that to encourage excellence in our inner-city youth.
