As many of you know April is autism awareness month. We would like to invite you all again this year Friday April 24th to help the Purcell FOP Lodge #194 with their Tip-a-cop fundraiser. These officers will be here with their happy faces and aprons working hard to serve our customers raising rmoney that goes directly to the JD McCarty center. This is a great cause and we hope you can all make it over to support them.

πŸ’™ Honoring a Hero's Service πŸ’™

In Jacksonville, the Fraternal Order of Police and local businesses joined forces to give back to Navy veteran Frank Douglas, who found himself in need of a new roof. Through the Housetops for Heroes program, FOP and partners came together to help an elderly veteran facing financial and health challenges.

Douglas, a Jacksonville native in his 80s, had sadly lost his savings to scammers after dementia set in, leaving him with no resources for vital home repairs. When his roof needed replacementβ€”at a steep costβ€”his family turned to the FOP, whose Housetops for Heroes program provides free roofs for veterans and first responders. In partnership with local companies like Southern Coast Roofing, ABC Supply, and Cowford Dumpster Company, Douglas’ home received the repairs it desperately needed.

The spirit of community and service unites us all. We honor those who have given so much.πŸ’™πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

The members of FOP Lodge #194 would like to acknowledge Coralee Castle's humanitarian work in supporting the victims of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. We were honored to help load donations onto her trailer and contribute monetary support for her mission. We appreciate Coralee's kindness and generosity. We wish her a safe trip and return, and continue to pray for the well-being of those impacted by Hurricane Helene and those in the path of Hurricane Milton.
