Proposed Lodge of Elks of Lexington NC Organizational Committee

There is an interest in developing a new Elks fraternal order in the Lexington area which focuses on the Elks mission to inculcate the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity. This group wants to institution an Elks lodge that focuses on activities to serve the people and Davidson county community through benevolent programs, demonstrating that Elks Care and Elks Share. The Be

nevolent and Protective Order of Elks honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans and help to quicken the spirit of American patriotism. Each year, every lodge observes Flag Day, and sponsors events at local VA hospitals and nursing homes, as well as other
projects that support veterans. The Elks was originally founded on one basic principle, to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members. Over time, Elks discovered that investing in the community
helps perpetuate that mission. Annually, the Elks spend more than $80,000,000
every year for benevolent, educational
and patriotic community-minded programs

Our organization is build on principles meant to cultivate good fellowship and perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization. Men and women
are welcome to become members, serve as officers, volunteer on committees, and support the Elks in whatever capacity they can. Without
members and volunteers, we can't honor
our commitment to the community.
