Beauty abounds from the club’s kickoff meeting to start the new year, held this week at Yonderyear Farm amid all the colors of the valley. What a lovely keepsake of fresh blooms for members to bring home!

A little basil bouquet, with benefits. 🌿

Before cooler nights bring basil season to an end, snip a few healthy stems and pop them in water. They’ll begin growing roots surprisingly quickly - ready to pot up for a sunny windowsill this fall.

Or just leave them in water and enjoy the freshest-smelling bouquet in the house. Bonus: this one can go straight into dinner. 🍝

💚 As gardeners, we love seeing these fascinating predators in our plots. This young lady will act as natural, organic pest control, keeping populations of aphids, beetles, caterpillars, and other troublesome bugs in check without any need for chemicals. A healthy garden ecosystem isn’t one with zero bugs; it’s one with the right balance of beneficial predators and prey.

Keep an eye out for these little ninjas tucked among the leaves this season! 🌿✨
