Some days, this club reminds us exactly why we show up. Today was one of those days. 🌟

Three extraordinary young people stood at our podium this morning, and every single one of them left us in awe. Elizabeth Deffendall raised over $28,600 for pediatric cancer research — as a high schooler — and is heading to EKU to become a pediatric occupational therapist because she wants kids to know they are more than their disability.

Justin Muñoz Hernandez watched his parents build a life in this country from nothing, and he turned that sacrifice into a full ride to the University of Michigan for chemical engineering. He knew exactly what he'd do with the scholarship money: the tools he needs to succeed. That kind of clarity? It'll take him far.

And this year's Milward Cup goes to Katherine Zhang — a published AI researcher, nonprofit founder, and one of the most service-driven humans we've ever had the privilege of recognizing. She's not waiting for someone to hand her the future. She's building it.

We also had the honor of presenting the Jack T. Bryden Great Teacher Award to Jo-Hanna Rosevear, whose students nominated her — and whose former students keep coming back to tell her she changed their lives. That says everything.

Lexington, your next generation is in good hands. We are so proud. 💙
