The enemy doesn’t need to defeat you if he can deceive you into defeating yourself.

Sometimes the greatest battles aren’t fought against what’s coming at you, but against what you’re allowing to get inside you.

A lie you believe.
A bitterness you refuse to release.
A voice you trust more than God’s Word.

That’s how deception works. It rarely looks dangerous at first. It looks reasonable. It feels justified. It slowly convinces you that what’s hurting you is helping you, what’s binding you is freeing you, and what God warned you about is nothing to worry about.

The enemy doesn’t always need to change your circumstances. Sometimes he just needs to change your perspective.

That’s why discernment matters. Not every open door is God’s door. Not every voice deserves your agreement. And not every feeling deserves your obedience.

Before you make the decision, enter the relationship, accept the compromise, or believe the lie…

CONSULT THE LORD.

Courage isn’t a one-time decision. It’s a repeated response to what God has already said. 💛

Joshua had to hear “be strong and courageous” again and again because the battles kept changing. And so do ours.

Fear doesn’t mean God isn’t in it. We can feel afraid and still choose obedience. We can trust God even when we can’t see the whole road ahead.

When fear gets loud, go back to what God has said, remember what He has already done, take the next right step, and remember that God is with you wherever you go.

Go deeper this week:
What decision have you already made in obedience to God, but keep reopening because fear has made you question what He already told you?

What are you calling “waiting on God” that may actually be fear keeping you from taking the next step of obedience?

Be strong. Be courageous. Again. 🙏

Maybe you’ve been carrying more than anyone knows. The pressure, the questions, the disappointment, or simply the weight of trying to do life on your own.

But there’s hope. Jesus still brings peace to anxious minds, freedom to those who feel stuck, and purpose to those searching for more.

You don’t have to have it all together to come to Jesus. You just have to come.
