Not everything that looks real...is real👀

The world will throw everything at you and say things like "trust me bro" or "it's basically the same thing" or maybe even "it doesn't really matter!"

🚨Yes it does!🚨

In a world full of noise, opinions, and influencers, it's way too easy to believe something just because it sounds right. But just because someone sounds right doesn't mean they actually are. Truth isn't based on vibes. It's built on something solid.

In a galaxy far, far away...the battle is light vs dark. Truth vs lies.

In Star Wars, not everyone who looks like a hero is one. Some turn. Some fake it. Some deceive.

Last night at IGNITE 🔥

There's an old saying that goes like this: "Don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk."
In other words, back up your words with action!

If we call ourselves Christians, there should be evidence of our faith in how we live.

We talked about 4 key principles from 3 John:
1️⃣ Being bold and courageous for God
2️⃣ Selflessly serving others
3️⃣ Making a point to avoid pride and arrogance
4️⃣ Walking the talk

Living a life for Christ does not mean that you have it all together or that your life is perfect. It's about where your heart and desires are ❤️

There are no perfect people. Walking imperfectly is still walking. God is known for using imperfect people to bring about His plans.

What do you need to do this week to make sure you don't just talk the talk, but walk the talk?

🙏 And learning how to forgive

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been building a clearer picture of who God is. Not just what we’ve heard, not just opinions, but truth.

Tonight we're talking about how prayer is an absolute necessity in the life of a Christian and our teens will be encouraged to communicate with God. 🗣️

Today is all about green…
Green clothes 👗

Green everything! 😂

And everywhere you look, green means one thing. GO! 🟢

But real talk, how often do we hesitate in life?

We wait for the perfect moment.
We wait until we feel ready.
We wait until it’s easier.

What if today is your green light? 👀

✔️ Take that step you’ve been putting off

What a night. 🏒🔥

We went to the Thunderbirds hockey game last night and it was an absolute blast!

Hopefully we’ll win next time 😅

But there were lots of laughs, and an awesome group to spend it with. 🤞

One of the best parts of youth group isn’t just Wednesday nights. It’s the friendships, the memories, and the moments like this where we just get to hang out and have fun together! 🤪

Every person here makes it special, and what’s even better is there’s room for YOU! We’re always saving a seat for you! 🫶🪑

Already looking forward to the next adventure!

In hockey, when a player commits a penalty, they have to sit in the penalty box for a couple minutes. Everyone messes up sometimes. 🚨

Real life can feel like that too. We all make mistakes. We all fall short.

But the good news? God doesn’t leave us stuck there. He gives grace, forgiveness, and the chance to get back up and keep going. 🙌

📖 "for the righteous falls seven times and rises again," Provers 24:16a

And just like in hockey, life has a goal. 🥅

Not just success. ✅
Not popularity. 🥰
Not more followers.🚶‍♂️‍➡️

Our goal is Jesus! Knowing Him, following Him, and living the life He created us for. ✝️🔥
