Hello everyone! Cinderella's Closet 2016 Prom season is upon us & while the Lexington, KY Chapter remains inactive, there are still Cinderella's Closets in KY in need of your support! Our neighboring Chapter in Frankfort, KY is in need of plus size prom dresses (dress sizes 14 + up – up to size 32) to accommodate their annual March 2016 event serving hundreds of students in Frankfort & nearby counties. If you’ve been thinking about about cleaning out your closest (or a friend or relative’s closet), NOW IS THE TIME! All donations are tax deductible. Donations of (all sizes) formal dresses, shoes & accessories are accepted year-round & may be dropped off at First United Methodist Church, 211 Washington Street, Frankfort, KY during business hours. It is with a heavy heart and great sadness we announce Cinderella's Closet of the Bluegrass Region - Lexington, KY is being dissolved as of December 31, 2014. The reality of our ministry being terminated has been difficult for everyone involved, and we are incredibly sad for our students and their families. Cinderella's Closet has only continued to gain strength and community support and we are continuing our search for a new home church in 2015. WE ARE CURRENTLY PURSUING REFERRALS SENT TO US IN RESPONSE TO OUR E-MAIL NOTIFICATION SENT DEC. 10TH. If you/anyone has any church referrals, we will pursue any referrals offered to us in anticipation of locating a new home church/church sponsorship. We are referring our volunteers, students and their families to Frankfort, KY's Cinderella's Closet Event. When we reform once we have secured a new home church, we hope you will continue working with us. Thanks again for all you've done for our beautiful ministry. We are forever grateful for all the love and support we have received!
