May 30 is Day.
While many recognize it as a children’s song, in the rural water industry, we know the real‑world impact behind the message. Even a single drip, one drop at a time, can add up to significant water loss. The same is true for distribution systems: a small leak in a pipe can waste thousands of gallons of treated water and cost utilities time, money, and resources.

Finding and fixing leaks protects infrastructure, conserves water, and serves our customers more efficiently. That’s why leak detection and proactive maintenance matter. Check for leaks; every drop counts. 💧

What an incredible milestone for the Annual Conference!

To every attendee who joined us in Winston-Salem — thank you for being part of the best family reunion in the industry. This conference is more than classes and exhibits. It’s a week filled with reconnecting with friends, sharing ideas, solving problems together, and celebrating the people who keep North Carolina’s water and wastewater systems running strong every single day.

A huge thank you to our vendors and associate members who bring innovation, expertise, energy, and fun to the exhibit hall each year. Your support and partnership help make this event possible.

And a very special recognition to Jamie Walker. Reaching this milestone did not happen by accident. It is the result of years of hard work, careful planning, organization, and a commitment to creating a top-tier experience for our members. Jamie’s leadership and dedication continue to elevate this conference year after year.

Finally, thank you to the entire NCRWA staff team who show up early, stay late, wear a hundred different hats, and work tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event successful. Your hard work does not go unnoticed.
Thank you all for making this year one to remember.
