Kentucky Division - U.S. Naval Sea Cadets Our culture stresses self discipline, service to others, accountability, and patriotism.

The United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (Sea Cadets) is the Navy’s youth development program. We give young Americans skills, knowledge, and confidence through an amazing variety of training opportunities. Sea Cadets wear uniforms, work as teams in a disciplined environment, and adhere to our core values of honor, respect, commitment, and service.

After several reschedules, our race team was finally able to brave the weather for our check presentation!

The 2025 Veterans VA5K raised $80,877.81 for the Lexington Fisher House!

Thanks to each and every one of you who organized, sponsored, volunteered, walked, ran, helped solicit donations, set up your vendor tables, brought your horses, served pancakes, played music, and donated time and energy to make this the largest attended VA5K event ever!

Our final participation was 635 registrations!

Organizing sponsors were Columbia Gas & LFUCG Division of Corrections.

📣 It's that time of year again — applications are now open for 2026–2027 Navy League Foundation Scholarships!

Each year, the Navy League Foundation awards scholarships to current U.S. Naval Sea Cadets and to outstanding high school seniors who are dependents or descendants of current or former members of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or U.S.-Flag Merchant Marines.

These scholarships, made possible by our generous donors, honor the service and sacrifice of America’s sea service families, ease the financial burden of college, and invest in the next generation of leaders.
