Buena Vista children in the BEST after school program (Enderly Heights ES) worked together last week to inspect and sort a forest-full of acorns prior to donating the viable nuts to the Virginia Department of Forestry.

The hands-on activity is part of “Forest Guardians,” a Boxerwood after school club in which the BEST kids help care for their school-based tree nursery.

Now, for the close of a successful day. Blessings to all who helped raise Meadowlark. Wow.
