We'll be joining the great folks at the Harrods Hill Neighborhood Association as they continue work clearing invasive plants along the creek at Harrods Hill Park today from 1pm to 5pm. Students in need of community service hours are welcome as are ALL folks interested in keeping our Lexington waterways healthy! Meetup is at the Tennis Court parking lot. A good pair of gloves is recommended :)

Great events at the Jesse Higginbotham Neighborhood Center!

So wonderful to share in the excitement of Jennifer's Ballet Classes at Valley Park. This is from her 2nd class this afternoon. It's all about the foot work, n'est ce pas? We're also happy to report that on Tuesdays and Thursdays the Casa de la Cultura Hispana will be holding art classes at the Park starting next week. w00t!

Heya Lexington! Get on over to Valley Park for the Meet & Greet Picnic from 6 to 7:30pm today!!! Free food and fun and the Lexington Fire Department is providing a BOUNCY HOUSE for the kids. Come say "Hi!" to our new Cardinal Valley Elementary Principal, Mr. Spottswood.
