Just a quick online survey.

We (BARS) are close to having a very nice venue secured for our Central Kentucky Hamfest.
As most of you are aware, the pandemic raised justifiable concerns and we did not host our annual event for the last 2 years and consequently the mandated lock downs destroyed the business that we rented from and the Bingo Hall site is no longer an option.
We have found a location that I believe is superior to the Bingo Hall in many regards..

Here's the issue;
Since it's mid April and historically we held our hamfest in August I don't feel I have enough time to recruit enough vendors to make it a worthwhile event. 1) I'm proposing we move our annual event to October. There are two Kentucky hamfests in September but none in October. If we choose a Saturday early in the month the weather should be a non issue. I am suggesting that if we move to October it should be a permanent move .2) Or, we can skip this year and start preparing for August next year.

Several people have expressed an interest in leaving Facebook (including myself) so I started a group on MeWe for those of you that are interested.
