Serving our community, one bag at a time! 💜🏈 GFWC International Day of Service was spent packing snack & toiletry bags for Natalie’s Sisters!

Just a little over a week away...

The Bluegrass Junior Woman’s Club is proud to support Natalie’s Sisters by assembling snack and toiletry bags for the women they serve. These bags provide practical essentials and a reminder that our community cares. Through this service project, BJWC members are helping meet immediate needs while supporting Natalie’s Sisters in their mission to offer hope, dignity, and encouragement to women on their journey toward restoration.

Natalie’s Sisters is a Lexington-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to extend hope, support, and unconditional love to women who have been s*x trafficked or s*xually exploited. Through its drop-in center and outreach programs, the organization provides meals, toiletries, clothing, supportive relationships, and connections to community resources that help women take steps toward safety, stability, and healing.

Our first meeting of the club year was one filled with purpose, connection, and giving back. 💚

We collected items to support the Ion Center for Violence Prevention in Northern Kentucky, which will be donated at the GFWC Fall District Conference.

We also signed our GFWC Pledge to Stand with Survivors, committing to support survivors and work toward ending domestic and s*xual violence.

We’re proud to begin another club year making a difference in our community and standing together for those who need our support. 💜

From federation to planning... we are officially hard at work! 💙

These moments capture both the celebration of our federation ceremony and our summer planning meeting, where ideas are turned into action.

Congratulations to our Executive Board, and thank you to Charlotte Johnson for leading our beautiful federation ceremony. We can't wait to see what this year has in store!

The Bluegrass Junior Women’s Club proudly planted pinwheels as a reminder that every child deserves a safe, happy, and healthy childhood. Together, we can raise awareness and be a voice for those who need it most.
