Our post got deleted! 🥴😭 A glitch caused our previous post to be deleted but we are reposting here to let everyone know that Uptown Lexington is open for business!!!

While the street remains closed in front of the businesses that were lost in the fire, along with a portion of E 1st St., the district is open! You can access ALL of the open businesses in the District with just a small detour. Pedestrian traffic can access both sides of Main Street to the north and south of the closed area by the sidewalk in front of Army Navy Store!

Visit Lexington NC has collaborated with Uptown Lexington and the Lexington Area Chamber of Commerce (NC) to create a unified landing page for the ongoing efforts to support the businesses affected by the tragic fire last week.

Crews are still out today continuing to work on Main Street at the scene of the fire. We have spoken with owners of all of the businesses affected - the hours and days ahead will be long, but we know our Uptown community will be here ready to help anyway we can.

Bagels and More On Main, Shoto Japanese, Lexington NC est 2001, The Candy Factory, Main Street Pizza & Deli - we are here with you every step of the way ❤️
