LexSEPTA Resource Fair is here!

We are excited to invite you to the LexSEPTA Resource Fair! The biggest and most anticipated event of the year for LexSEPTA families. This free community event brings together trusted resources, services, and supports for children, teens, and adults with special needs, all in one place.

Date: Friday April 3rd
Time: 4:00–7:00 PM
Location: Lexington Community Center
39 Marrett Road, Lexington, MA 02421

Last year’s fair was a huge success with 40+ vendorsoffering valuable information across education, therapy, recreation, transition planning, and adult services. Families from across the Greater Boston area attend each year, so please come yourself—and share this event with friends, family members, or anyone who may benefit from these resources.

📣 Upcoming Transition Planning Workshops – January 2026

Lexington Public Schools is launching a series of transition planning workshops to support families as students prepare for the move from adolescence to adulthood.

These sessions will share valuable information, resources, and guidance around transition-age planning, adult services, employment supports, and independent living — with time built in for Q&A.

🗓 First two workshops in the series:

🔹 Friday, January 16 (Virtual)
A conversation with MassAbility and Northeast Independent Living Program, focused on vocational supports, Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), and resources for transition-age youth and young adults.

🔹 Thursday, January 29 (In Person)
An informational session on the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), covering eligibility, youth and adult services, the 688 process, and supports for families planning for adulthood.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 These sessions are especially relevant for families of middle school, high school, and transition-age students, but all LPS families are welcome.
