Due to the pandemic, Friends of Rockbridge Swimming has made the hard decision to postpone the 11th Annual Rockbridge Pie Festival to September 2021. Each year the pie festival's talented bakers make over 500 pies. Since volunteers usually work side by side and due to COVID restrictions we cannot have everyone in the same space, we will have a limited capacity to produce high quality fresh pies. Given the social distancing requirements and the rising number of COVID-19 cases in our area, we will not be able to have a festival that promotes community building. We are sad to postpone the Rockbridge Pie Festival but we know that this is the responsible decision at this time.

In lieu of the Pie Festival we will launch a Pie Therapy For You...And For Us fundraiser. 150 of your favorite varieties of pie will be baked and available for purchase online. Each pie will cost $100 and will come with a raffle ticket for a chance to win $1,000! Pies will be available for pick up at the Rockbridge Aquatics Center on Friday, September 4th from 4-7 and Saturday September 5th from 9:00 to 12:00. The raffle drawing will take place on Saturday evening and a video will be uploaded to the www.rockbridgepiefestival.org web site announcing the winner.

Head over to Rockbridge Swims to see about this year's Swim-A-Thon! The Swim-A-Thon and the Rockbridge Pie Festival are the two largest fundraisers to help support our critical water safety programs. These lessons teach life saving skills to swimmers across Rockbridge county!

Don't forget...this year's Pie Festival will be held at Great Valley Farm Brewery on September 5th!

Save the date! Join us on September 5th to celebrate 11 years of good pie and good friends. This year's Pie festival will be at the Great Valley Farm Brewery. We will have music by the talented Jason Hostetter and food by Hogback Mountain BBQ.
