🎉AHS Foundation announces two young equestrians, Hayden Drager and Sierra Kahler, as recipients of this cycle's Junior/U25 scholarship!
The selection committee extends its appreciation to all applicants. This cycle featured a highly competitive and accomplished group of young equestrians, making the final decisions especially difficult.
Sierra Kahler of Texas has been awarded $1,500 to support her participation in the USDF Instructor/Trainer Development Program. Sierra shared, “My goal with beginning the USDF Instructor/Trainer Development Program Professional Development with the plan of getting certified at Training/First level (to start out) is to continue expanding my knowledge and instruction skills so that I can become a better trainer, coach, and rider.” The selection committee was especially impressed by the broader impact this educational opportunity could have, not only for Sierra’s own professional development, but also for the students she teaches.
Hayden Drager of New Mexico has been awarded $1,000 toward expenses related to competing her Hanoverian gelding, Winnsome (Wild Dance-Abdullah), at the 2026 American Eventing Championships, to be held August 25-30 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. The Foundation is excited to support Hayden’s goals and to cheer on Hanoverian horses competing across all sport disciplines.
Hayden and Sierra have demonstrated a strong commitment to learning, growth, and the future of our breeds. Their dedication to the breeding, care, and performance of Hanoverian and Rhineland horses embodies the purpose of this scholarship and the values it represents.
We are excited to support their educational pursuits and look forward to seeing the impact they will make within the Hanoverian and Rhineland communities. Please join us in congratulating Hayden and Sierra on this well-deserved achievement! 👏🐴🌟

💫The American Hanoverian Society Foundation is pleased to announce Kalina Myers of Louisville, Kentucky as the recipient of the 2026 Rachel Ehrlich Scholarship.
Funded through the generosity of Dr. Barbara Davis and Dr. J. Carl Barrett, the Rachel Ehrlich Scholarship was established to support educational opportunities that help inspire and develop the next generation within the Hanoverian community.
