Midlands Striper Club

Midlands Striper Club MSC is a family-oriented fishing club based in Lexington, S.C. on beautiful Lake Murray. We're based in Columbia, S.C. Guests and family are always welcome.

MSC is a family-oriented fishing club organized to stimulate public awareness of striped bass fishing. We promote sportsmanship, conservation and demand adequate water quality. Monthly meetings are held on th4e second Tuesday of every month at the FlightDeck in Lexington. Doors open at 6:00 pm and Call to Order is at 7:00 pm. Tournaments are held on the third Saturday of each month, with times fol

lowing safe light conditions. Membership fee is currently $40 per year for the entire family or $20 after July 1st. If you wish to join, you may download an application form in Adobe Acrobat Reader format from the MSC Website. Next meeting -- Tuesday, May 12th -- special speaker to give presentation on "how to down rod fish". Six time club champion-- Lee Thomas will explain the secrets of successful "down rod fishing" using live herring. He will answer all questions on the presentation of bait to attract those large stripers. Pictures and autographs to follow presentation. Meeting starts at 7:00 - but come early to enjoy some delicious food. DON'T MISS THIS CHANCE to learn his secrets on winning with "down rods"

The Midlands Striper Club meets every month on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Flightdeck Restaurant in Lexington and is looking for people/companies to present at these meetings.
