The University of Kentucky Association of Fundraising Professionals Thoroughbred Chapter is a professional student association of individuals responsible for generating philanthropic support for a wide variety of nonprofit, charitable organizations. AFP Thoroughbred is the chapter for current University of Kentucky students. Mission Statement:

orld, advances philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice ethical and effective fundraising. The core activities through which AFP fulfills this mission include education, training, mentoring, research, credentialing and advocacy. Vision Statement:

Special Olympics Kentucky Summer Games is coming up in just over a month, and we are looking for volunteers to help with our Healthy Athletes 🍎 and Strong Minds 🧠 tables.

This is one of our largest events of the year, and we cannot be successful without your help!

Volunteers do not need any experience. All we ask is that you bring energy and a 😃 and we will provide a brief training 👩‍🏫 prior to the event!

Today we volunteered at God's Pantry Food Bank for their annual ! People from all over the community of Lexington helped box thousands of Thanksgiving dinners for families that would not have a family dinner cooked by themselves without God's Pantry. Thank you God's Pantry and the many other organizations helping to alleviate hunger!
