Build your network. Boost your career. LYPA was founded in July 2000 by eight young professionals in Lexington.

Their mission was to create an organization that provided emphasis on personal, civic and professional development for local professionals between the ages of 21 – 40. Since this time, LYPA has grown into an organization of over 600 young professionals in Lexington and the surrounding area.

March didn’t quite go as planned... Between the snow & ice and all of the March Madness chaos, hosting events was tougher than expected. We’re looking to bounce back in April – and we want your help!

We’re planning to host a second event towards the end of this month, but we need help with venues and ideas to make it happen.

👉 Do you have any venue suggestions or connections we should reach out to? Drop a comment or DM us!
👉 We’ll be running a poll on our story for what you’d like to see. Keep an eye out and vote!

We’re thinking… Trivia night, outdoor hang (park and food trucks, weather permitting), or another type of networking event.

👉 Also, if you… Like hosting trivia, know a great food truck spot, or have a park/outdoor space in mind, reach out – we’d love to collaborate!

This community is growing because of you, and we’re excited to keep building it together!

Last night’s Holiday Party at Bluegrass Distillers was an absolute blast! Our longtime LYPA members and new faces alike enjoyed a behind-the-scenes distillery tour followed by a great evening of networking.

It was wonderful seeing everyone, and the event was truly fantastic. Thank you to all who came out to celebrate with us!🎄

The Lexington Young Professionals Association (LYPA) is excited to host our 2025 Holiday Party at the beautiful Bluegrass Distillers at Elkwood Farm in Midway, KY: A festive evening built around community, connection, and celebration!

We’re kicking off the night with an LYPA members-only tour from 6 - 7 PM, where you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Central Kentucky’s signature distilleries. After the tour, the evening opens up for everyone to join us from 7 - 8 PM for networking, mingling, and catered finger foods.

This event is all about bringing young professionals together. Whether you’re hoping to expand your circle, reconnect with familiar faces, or simply enjoy a warm and welcoming space during the holiday season.
