Palmetto Pyr Haven

We are a final haven for senior and Special Needs Great Pyrenees and Pyrenean Mastiffs that stay in long-term rescue with little or no prospect of being adopted due to their age and/or medical needs. Once a dog becomes a resident, he or she will have a loving home for life. Our mission will be to provide senior and special needs pyrs with a loving and caring home where they will be allowed to live

out their lives in a secure, nurturing environment. We will provide residents with a comfortable home, secure yards to play and supervised time in fenced, grassy fields on our 4+ acres of property. Healthcare and wellness screenings will be ongoing with veterinary specialists consulted when needed. All pyrs will receive special diets, as necessary, and are fed high quality foods and treats. We are currently trying to raise the funds to get our 501(c)3 charitable status and incorporation. We will also need a small amount of start up funds and are looking into a used mini-van for pyr transport. Palmetto Pyr Haven will rely on donations, grants, and wish list gifts to accomplish our primary mission of providing quality care and love for our senior fluffies.
