✨ Member Spotlight: Dr. Amanda Mather ✨

For Dr. Amanda Mather, her first year as an Active Member of the Junior League of Lexington has been an opportunity to build confidence, strengthen her communication skills and connect with positive, joyful women working together toward a common goal.

Serving as the Holly Day Market Silent Auction Chair and also on our CE&R Committee, Amanda says one of her favorite League memories so far has been volunteering at Ronald McDonald House alongside fellow members.

“The League members I worked with are exceptional people!”

Amanda says she serves because she loves working hard to improve the lives of people in Lexington, and she’s especially looking forward to seeing this year’s Holly Day Market be a huge success.

✨ Member Spotlight: Tricia Weiderman ✨

For Tricia Weiderman, one of the most meaningful parts of being a Junior League of Lexington member is seeing what women can accomplish when they work together.

Now in her fourth year with the League and serving as Holly Day Market Vice Chair, Tricia continues to be inspired by the women around her.

“I am impressed every day to see what happens when you get a group of amazing and strong women working together!”

That perspective feels especially meaningful in a milestone year for the League. With the Lexington Junior League Charity Horse Show celebrating its 90th anniversary and Holly Day Market marking 20 years, Tricia sees 2026 as an opportunity to recognize the generations of women whose time, leadership and dedication have helped build these traditions and make an impact in our community.

Thank you, Tricia, for being part of that legacy and helping carry it forward!

Throwing it back to earlier this week... 💙

We celebrated a big milestone as our Provisional members officially became Active members of the Junior League of Lexington!

The evening also featured our committee "speed dating" event, where members had the opportunity to meet committee leaders, learn about different roles and find new ways to get involved in the year ahead.

We also took time to recognize a few members. Congratulations to our June Volunteer of the Month, Grace Hahn; July Volunteer of the Month, Heather Kane; and our VIP of the Month, Tamara Davis. Thank you for your dedication and service to the League!

✨ Member Spotlight: Emily Lawrence ✨

Meet Emily Lawrence, a third-year Active Member and the League's Community Engagement & Relations Chair and Holly Day Market Marketing/PR Chair.

Through her work with the Holly Day Market and CE&R, Emily says the League has given her a creative outlet beyond her day-to-day work, allowing her to expand her skills in graphic design, advertising and community engagement while growing as a leader.

What Emily loves most is seeing the League's impact in action, whether that's volunteering alongside fellow Members, celebrating milestones with our community partners or watching the Holly Day Market make a difference throughout Lexington.

Emily shared, "I believe we are all stronger together than we are alone, and our combined focused efforts make a huge difference to our community."
