That’s what The Legacy Ball is all about! Join us, May 5, 2017 for this exclusive, red carpet celebration of the rich history horse racing in our Commonwealth, and the diverse heritage of the people who put Kentucky horse racing on the map. This one-of-kind event is sure to be the talk of the town. It will be held in the luxurious Woodford Reserve Club in the University of Kentucky Commonwealth St

adium; where our special guests will enjoy the finest food and of course, bourbon. It will also feature a premiere, historical exhibit of African-American racing pioneers; created by renowned equine expert and author of “The Prince of Jockeys”, Pellom McDaniel. The proceeds of this chic and culturally-enriching affair will benefit local charities and scholarships for African-American students who aspire to pursue equine education.
